Now open: These are the top outdoor attractions in Dubai to check out

The cold season is quickly coming, which means that some of Dubai’s best attractions will be back.

Going outside (and remaining there without sweating) is a top priority for visitors and residents alike, and if you can’t wait anymore, below are the best outdoor attractions in Dubai that you can now visit.

Here is a list of all the fun things to do in Dubai.

Dubai Safari Park

Dubai Safari Park is an outdoor place unlike all of them, allowing you to get up close and personal with a remarkable array of species. 3,000 animals are housed on the 119-hectare property. There are 78 kinds of mammals, 50 reptile species, 111 bird species, and amphibians and invertebrates. It separates into four communities and provides multiple chances for you to gain field experience. The park will open on October 5. More information about their new events and attractions can be found here.

Dubai Garden Glow

Dubai Garden Glow, located within Zabeel Park, is a paradise of lights and light displays. It’s divided into five parks, each with a different theme, and features everything from dazzling life-like dinosaurs to architecture, huge flowers, and wildlife. In mid-September, the lit park opened its doors.

The park is open from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. from Sunday through Friday, and from 5 p.m. to midnight on Saturdays and national holidays. Garden Glow and Dinosaur Park tickets are Dhs70 each, with a further price for the Magic Park. You can get your tickets here.

Hatta Wadi Hub

There isn’t a more naturally gorgeous site in Dubai than Hatta, with its breathtaking views and wonderful feelings of being one with nature. It is genuinely an escape away from the rush and bustle of the city, and is best experienced when the temperatures drop. Of course, it will be much colder in the highlands. The beautiful realm of holidays is now open, so start arranging your trip now. No car? With this new fast bus, you can go to Hatta from Dubai for Dhs25 per passenger.

Opening soon

Global Village Dubai

When: 18th of October…

Every year, everyone’s favourite family fun spot closes for the summer before reopening in the cooler months. This year is no difference. Global Village Dubai will reopen formally on Wednesday, October 18. It will remain open for six months as usual until closing on April 28, 2024. You have six months to buy, play, and eat meals from across the world while immersing yourself in a cultural melting pot.

The Ripe Market

When: 14 October…

Okay, so it’s not legally a ‘attraction,’ but it’s really popular. The Ripe Market is the place to go for everything local and whole foods, fresh vegetables, small business, and family fun. The Academy Park outdoor site officially closed for the summer in May, but good news for all our outdoor market fans: it will reopen on October 14 for another season. The Ripe Market has a lot to offer, with pop-up stalls, food vendors, classes & workshops, entertainment, and more.
