If you’ve spent the last several months marveling at SALT’s captivating Japanese-themed installation at the Louvre Abu Dhabi, you understand why a few people could have groaned in sadness when they learned that they were closing in early March. We have wonderful news to share with you since it will be open and available for you to enjoy during the period of fasting of Ramadan. Enjoy mouthwatering cuisine, succulent burgers, unique products, and everything Japanese.
Enjoy a bangin’ barbecue at Sidekicks
Every night of the week, Sidekicks hosts a themed night. On Friday, for example, there will be a barbecue theme complete with delicacies and delights that will move you to a land where there are tons of fathers wearing Reeboks, standing with their hands on their hips and serving you the best barbecue ever. Explore Louvre Abu Dhabi for free
During the Holy Month of Ramadan, visitors are free to view the dome after sundown. The dome still looks amazing, even without the “rain of light”.You can access the dome for free between 8.30 p.m. and 1 a.m. during Ramadan. Please be advised that admission to the permanent galleries and the temporary exhibition rooms are not allowed, nor is entry to the museum after 12.30am.
See The Ripe Market in a new light
In Abu Dhabi’s Marina Mall’s Ramadan hamlet, The Ripe Market will launch a pop-up. From March 9 to April 14, the pop-up is accessible to the public every Saturday and Sunday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Together, families and friends will take advantage of the arts and crafts stations, workshops, entertainment, and souvenir stalls during this distinctive, locally sourced shopping event. You are welcome to look around the many domestic businesses.
