All the music festivals coming up in the UAE

Do you enjoy live music? Your year is 2023.

Along with an array of concerts and performances planned throughout the year, there will be a spate of UAE music festivals over the next several months.

Despite changing from mud to sand, the country knows a thing or two about throwing a rocking music event.

Take out your calendar and begin marking all of the UAE music events for 2023 (and those that have already been announced for 2024).

November

November 4: Boogie Box Festival

Boogie Box returns to Ras Al Khaimah with an event in The Dunes.The all-night event will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, and end at 8 a.m. on Sunday, November 5.DJ Boring, Matrixxman, Anthea, Molly, Levon Vincent, and Isolee are among those performing.Those who wish to sleep or relax during the event are welcome to bring their own tents to pitch.

LOADED music festival 

Make a note of Saturday, November 4 in your calendar because four renowned bands from the 1990s will perform an array of nostalgic favoured ones at the popular Dubai bar. Dodgy, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Stereo MC, and Toploader will be on the bill, so be ready to dance the night (and moonlight) away.DJ Andy Buchan will also be spinning records. The concert starts at 7 p.m., with tickets costing Dhs175 from The Irish Village and 800 Tickets.

Soho Garden Festival

Eric Prydz will be performing at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on Saturday, November 4th.The performance is part of Soho Garden DXB’s new Soho Garden Festival. So yet, little information about the event has been revealed, save for the fact Prydz will be the headline. Tickets are Dhs150 and are now on sale through Platinumlist.

November 11: Butterfly Carnival Music Festival 

This November, the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre will host an immense music event. The Butterfly Carnival Music Festival will take place at the highly popular outdoor location on Saturday, November 11. The music festival will carry you from day to night starting at 2 p.m. The music festival, a completely new concept for Dubai, will cover an array of musical genres. B018 DXB, Afrobeats event House of Yanos, and Rampage, one of BBC 1Xtra’s DJs who played at Notting Hill Carnival, will deliver music.

November 18: Groove on the Grass

Groove on the Grass 2023 will take held at Emirates Golf Club on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Groove on the Grass, the UAE’s homegrown music and arts festival, has built a devoted following over the past ten years, so we’re expecting great things for its 11 year.

November 25: Cele Retro Fest Dubai

Old-school music fans, take note: an old-school music ceremony is coming to Emirates Golf Club in November. Cele Retro Fest Dubai, which takes place on Saturday, November 25, has an international roster of acts from the 1990s to the early 2000s. German rapper Nana Darkman, British rapper Ice MC, Swedish singer Dr. Alban, Italian singer In-Grid, and others are among those on the bill.

December

December 8-10: Earth Soul Festival

From Friday, December 8 to Sunday, December 10, Dubai Media Arena will play host to the city’s first-ever eco-conscious festival. The weekend-long function, said to be a location where “music, art, and the environment converge,” will feature an array of actions. A day pass costs Dhs158, while a usual three-day pass cost Dhs415.

December 16: The Ibiza Orchestra Experience

The Ibiza Orchestra Experience will perform at a beach incident in Dubai. On Saturday, December 16, you can now sign up for 50% discount tickets on the website. A specific place has still to be revealed. Have you heard of The Ibiza Orchestra? It’s a 26-piece travelling orchestra that plays classic Ibiza songs. To create a party atmosphere, there are live entertainers and a DJ in addition to the band.

December 31: NYE Beach Festival at Zero Gravity Dubai

On New Year’s Eve, Zero Gravity hosts a large seaside event. It will begin at 11 a.m. and end at 3 a.m. Throughout the day, there will be live DJs, and in the late hours, there will be a lineup of international DJs on the decks. Tickets start at Dhs199 and can be bought on Platinumlist right now.
