Christmas is only two months away (eek), which means that the run-up to the celebrations will begin shortly.
Visiting Christmas markets is one of our favourite ways to get in the holiday spirit, and a few locations have already stated that they will be returning with all the crimbo basics, from towering trees and lighting ceremonies to Santa’s Grotto and arts and crafts classes.

Winter City
This Christmas, Santa and his elves will turn Expo City into Winter City. Following its success in 2022, the festival will return with metric tonnes of seasonal entertainment, including a massive tree, carolling, and workshops. The crimbo extravaganza will run from Sunday, December 8 through Sunday, January 7, giving you plenty of possibilities to experience the winter paradise.

Winter Garden
The Winter Garden at Habtoor Palace will reopen for the holidays in 2023. According to the event’s Instagram page, Christmas supporters will be able to enjoy the festivities from November through January (specific dates to be announced). As in previous years, we expect a slew of culinary pop-ups and live acts to spread holiday pleasure.

Madinat Jumeirah Christmas Market
Madinat Jumeirah’s holiday market, which starts on Friday, December 15, is one of the city’s most well-known Christmas festivities. It will be the place to go if you want a cup of mulled grape, an amazing abra ride, plenty of mince pies, and Christmas songs. It will be free to visit and open from 3pm until late on Mondays through Thursdays and noon until late on Fridays through Sundays.
Opens on Friday, the fifteenth of December. Free. Monday-Thu, 3pm-late; Friday-Sun, noon-late. (Dec 15-30). Jumeirah Fort Island Madinat.
