Admire a fruit and paint? This week, try something new and choose to attend a Paint in the Dark course.
The workshop is held, well, in complete darkness. but has a fantastic soundtrack and retro-futuristic feelings to support your creative flow. It is not like the other paint and grape workshops you may have attempted here in Dubai because it employs neon paint.
Only two days in April and two days in May—April 27, April 28, May 25 and May 26—will be spent in Dubai enjoying this exceptional event.
What to expect?
The exciting activity takes place in a brightly lit, fluorescent room where you will create your artwork.
Here, the canvas is totally up to you, unlike other paint-and-grape experiences in Dubai where you are given an outline to fill in.
You’ll also be using a combination of fluorescent and classic paints. The exciting art experience is enhanced by the retro-futuristic, artsy, floor to ceiling fluorescent environment lit by black lights. There will be music to accompany it, and there will undoubtedly be lots of small talk and laughter to create a joyful and upbeat vibe overall.
Don’t worry if you don’t know where to start or if your creative juices run out! An artist will be there at the location to offer guidance on how to get it going again.
Soft drinks are included, and the entire event lasts for about ninety minutes.
You can take your canvas with you so you can show it off to your loved ones when it’s over. Oh, and wear anything you don’t mind getting paint splashed on unless you want to flaunt your paint-stained clothes as well. An apron will also be given to you.

Ages 10 and above are welcome to book this experience, which may be done here. One soft drink is included in the price of Dhs 160 per person; alternatively, you can add Dhs 15 to receive two soft drinks throughout your visit.
