Searching for a Saturday meal that won’t break the bank? We believe Expo City has just introduced Brunch City, the greatest affordable brunch option in the city. Every Saturday from April 20 through June 8, a limited-time brunch will be held, allowing guests to eat at six different restaurants in the area from 1pm to 4pm.
Brunch City will cost Dhs 199 for men and Dhs 149 for women, including teachers and cabin personnel. A variety of house wines, spirits, and cocktails are included in the beverages package.You can purchase premium bottles with bubbles for an extra Dhs 49.
Furthermore, since this is a family-friendly event, children between the ages of five and fifteen can purchase a package for just Dhs49. For kids under five, it’s free.
Six restaurants will be available for guests to explore by foot or with the help of Expo City buggies: Alkebulan, Gup & Shup, Assembly Mezze & Skewers, The Daily at Rove, and PXB Rooftop.
The lively atmosphere will be further enhanced by wandering magicians and performers who will captivate visitors as they walk between venues. Additionally, live DJs and musicians will provide the soundtrack for an enjoyable day in each of the eateries.
Regarding dining, all-American comfort food is the main attraction at Philly Jawn by Ghostburger, while African flavours are brought to life at Alexander Smalls’ food hall, Alkebulan. In Gup & Shup, a new concept by culinary guru Rohit Ghai, authentic Indian street cuisine is tossed into the mix; at Assembly Mezze & Skewers, an Expo City idea from the same culinary greats behind Lebanon’s Baron, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavours meet. Visit your local hotspot, The Daily at Rove Expo City, for fuss-free, casual eats. There, you’ll find traditional pastas, freshly baked flatbreads, and sizzling tacos. Lastly, a great selection of vegan plant-based dining alternatives is available at PXB Rooftop, a plant-based concept restaurant with a lovely outdoor terrace.
That’s not all, though. The fun doesn’t stop after brunch, as Expo City’s Mobility District hosts the Saturday Block Party starting at 4 p.m. All guests wearing brunch wristbands receive a complimentary drink upon arrival, with additional drink specials starting at Dhs25. Up to 6 o’clock in the evening, everything is served up to the sounds of live DJs like Dane Bowers, Alex Simmons, and Dany Neville spinning records.
