The best places in Dubai for your next steak frites craving

There is just one restaurant in Dubai that is known for its steak frites, but it’s quite acceptable for us to occasionally want to venture outside of our comfort zones. The greatest steak frites that aren’t found on French streets may be found at a few amazing places in Dubai.

Couqley

You know if you know. Couqley’s famous steak and fries night is held on Mondays. You and your significant other can enjoy the restaurant’s signature dish along with a bottle of wine, dessert, and sauce. This supper, for two, will come to far from breaking the bank at Dhs349 just.

Swiss Butter

This steakhouse, which was founded in Lebanon, is well-known. With a beef filet or ribeye for Dhs87, a sauce for Dhs13, and a basket of fries for Dhs18, you can enjoy a tasty dinner for Dhs118. Their menu is small, but that’s a good thing.

Odeon

Odeon, the 2024 winners of the What’s On Awards for Home Grown Restaurant of the Year, is a French restaurant that specializes in serving food with a touch of affection. Though they’re not your “traditional” steak fries, Odeon offers Entrecôte Grillée, Sauce au Poivre, a ribeye steak with pepper sauce and a choice of side for Dhs220. If you choose the handmade fries, you’re good to go.

The Maine Land Brasserie

The Maine Land Brasserie, tucked away inside Zaha Hadid’s Opus building in Business Bay, is a great place to spend Dhs 185 for an Australian Wagyu flank steak smothered in bearnaise sauce and fries, of course.

Le Petit Beefbar

An outpost of the DIFC—the name says it all. Every day for lunch and evening, Le Petit Beefbar provides filet frites; Beefbar, the larger location in Jumeirah Al Naseem, offers steak frites as part of their business lunch menu. Beefbar therefore provides coverage regardless of the side of town you’re on.
