Torno Subito, situated on the breezy shores of Dubai’s world-famous fabricated archipelago, is one of the city’s most fascinating, distinctive, famed, and acclaimed Italian restaurants.
The strikingly decorated restaurant is inspired by the cultural and gastronomic flamboyance of the Italian Riviera’s golden period of time. It is the Dubai-based passion project of world master chef Massimo Bottura, best known for his three Michelin-starred Osteria Francescana.
Following the release of Dubai’s Michelin Guide, Torno Subito has been awarded its own Star, stretching the Massimo constellation across continents.
And you can take a whistle-stop trip through some of the menu’s gourmet highlands for just as Dhs325. This is the cost of the soft package at Sabato at Riviera brunch. Every Saturday from 1pm to 4pm, it provides relaxed gourmet eating and a house decision for Dhs425; a prosecco and signature cocktail package for Dhs525; and a Champagne and premium spirits package for Dhs725.
Getting down to business
Of course, that’s not the only weekly special at Torno Subito; prejudice buyers seeking for a midweek treat can check out the brand’s new business lunch formula.
From Sunday to Friday, between noon and 3pm, a very vast set of seatings are available. The menu has been carefully developed with real Italian food with a tasty twist.
From a menu that includes Polpo E Patate (roasted octopus with sweet potato) and a classo Vitello Tonnato (slow-cooked veal in tuna sauce with pickled celery and caper powder), you can enjoy two dishes for Dh125 and three for Dh145. Tagliatella Al Ragu, an iconic egg noodle tagliatelle with hand-chopped beef ragu; Dentice All’aqua Pazza, a pan-fried snapper with roasted fennel and acqua pazza style sauce; and Pollo Fritto, a corn-fed chicken leg with cacciatora sauce and baked potatoes, complete out the main dish.
And, to put the’sin’ in ‘business lunch,’ there’s Torno’s known Tiramisubito or some Gellati E Sorbetti.
