Take note: Secret Beach has closed to the public

For those looking for a laid-back beach day, people of Dubai who are in the know have long flocked to Secret Beach, also called Black Palace Beach. However, be aware that this section of beach is briefly off-limits to the public if you want to visit.

The public can no longer access the beach because it has been walled off for the past few days. The beach, which is near Al Sufouh and is next to Dubai College, has signs stating that it is closed for now. However, there is currently no information available on when the beach will reopen.

Though it might not have been the simplest to locate, this stretch of sand—hidden behind a row of palm trees—had grown to be a favourite spot for locals who came to spend a day in the sun, pack picnics, or visit during sunset. We’ll have to wait to find out if the beach is temporarily closed for repairs because there were no food trucks, places of work, or showers.

For the time being, those seeking free public beaches in Dubai would have to visit one of the nearby beaches. JBR is a well-liked location because of its many facilities and views of Ain Dubai. To spend less money on a day at the beach, you are able to bring your own beach chair or blanket or hire loungers on the sand.

In the other direction, Kite Beach and Sunset Beach merge into one another as soon as you pass the Burj Al Arab. You start with Sunset Beach, which has, as its name implies, especially spectacular sunset. Beyond that, Kite Beach has a plethora of activities, like yoga, volleyball, and kite surfing. It’s not only about the water activities, though; there are plenty of food options for your noon munchies, shops, and a beach library.
