Gran Melia Hotel will be the world-renowned Melia Hotels’ third launch in Dubai, following the beautiful desert hiding Melia Desert Palm and the contemporary city stay, ME Dubai. The opulent hotel, which is set to open by the end of 2025, will be the group’s first beach resort, situated along the coastline of Dubai’s new Port de La Mer island.
In classic Dubai fashion, there will also be a flashy new beach club adjacent to the hotel, but not just any beach club… The Zuma Beachhouse. Yes, a beautiful on the shore Zuma Dubai will open the same year, equipped with a cafe and bar, day beds, and a wonderful swimming pool.
And that’s not all…
We’ve received a number of intriguing announcements about what’s to come since the destruction of the renowned beachside turn La Mer last year. And you won’t have to wait until 2025 to have it.
With the official opening of J1 Beach early next year, La Mer will witness the addition of three sleek new beach clubs and 10 licenced eateries. J1 Beach seems to be nothing short of a food and sun-seeker the celestial realm with a beach club from famed Dubai eatery Gaia and renowned Gigi from St Tropez, as well as a Michelin-Star restaurant and French beach house member’s club.
