Free parking announced in Dubai for Eid Al Fitr 2024

The Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai has declared that parking in Dubai will be free during Eid Al Fitr. The RTA Customer Happiness Centres, service providers, and public transportation schedules in Dubai have all undergone timing modifications, were announced by the transportation authority.

Parking

In Dubai, parking is free from Ramadan 29 to Shawwal 3. While we are aware that Monday, April 8, corresponds to Ramadan 29, Shawwal 3 will fall on either Thursday, April 11, or Friday, April 12. Multi-story parking is not covered by the free parking.

Public transport

Dubai Metro

The following is how the Red Line and Green Line will function:

Saturday, April 6 from 5 a.m. until 1 a.m. (the next day)

Sunday, April 7 from 8 a.m. until 1 a.m. (the next day)

April 8–13, Monday: 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. (the following day)

14 April Sunday: 8 a.m. to 12 a.m.

Dubai Tram

6 a.m. to 1 a.m., Monday through Saturday (the following day)

Sunday: 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. (the next day)

Dubai Bus

During the Eid Al Fitr holiday, Dubai Bus and intercity buses will have modified operation hours. Visit the S’hail App to check if there’s been any changes that may influence your journey.

RTA Centres

During the holidays, all Customer Happiness Centres will be closed. However, the RTA headquarters, Deira, Barsha, Umm Ramool, Al Kifaf, and Smart Customers Centres will continue to run properly at all times.

From Ramadan 29 to Shawwal 3, Service Providers Centres (Vehicle Testing) will be closed during Eid. Work will pick back up on Shawwal 4.
