The Palm Monorail connects important spots on the Palm Jumeirah, commencing at the Gateway Station at the main gate to the Palm Jumeirah and ending at the Golden Mile Galleria, Al Ittihad Park, Nakheel Mall, and Atlantis Aquaventure station.
The 5.5 km monorail line, which opened in 2009, is the sole public transport option on Palm Jumeirah for its residents, visitors, and tourists, and it is one of the most iconic ways to explore all of its sites while having a little impact on the surrounding environment.
The single-trip ticket price is 5 AED, and the round-trip ticket price is 10 AED.
Tickets can be bought online or at a customer service counter at every Palms Monorail stop.
Please keep in the mind that Monorail customers will receive three hours of free parking upon ticket verification. Following the third hour of free parking, a price of AED 10 per hour will be charged.
Palm Gateway
The first stop is the Palm Gateway station, which has over 1,600 parking places, allowing you to park at the southern end of the Palm Jumeirah and ride the monorail for the day. As you enter Palm Jumeirah, enjoy a fantastic view position from the station. The Palm Gateway station can be reached through the Dubai Tram.
Al Ittihad Park
This station opened on July 3, 2017. Al Ittihad Park is an attractive site that is home to an array of the country’s unique plant life. Aside from being a great location for relaxing, the park has become famous among Dubai’s running community, with a 3.2km jogging track and pop-up stationary work-out stations.
This station has a direct connection to the Golden Mile Galleria, where tourists can shop at some of the world’s most famous retailers. It has links to Palm West Beach, which is perfect for swimming, eating, and relaxing by the water.
Nakheel Mall
This station, along with the actual mall opening, opened in November 2019. It links right away to Nakheel Mall, which offers a variety of activities and breathtaking attractions for all tourists.
Watch the hottest blockbusters at the cinema, shop at the top international stores, dine on delectable foods from across the world, and do grocery shopping. All of the exciting activities are sure to appeal to children of all ages.
The Palm Tower, The View at the Palm, St. Regis Dubai, and Club Vista Mare are all accessible via the station.
Atlantis Aquaventure
Waterpark
The station is right away next to the entrance to the Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark, the Middle East’s number one aqua park.
Step out of the station and into the realm of Atlantis, where you’ll be fulfilled with a variety of amazing aquatic sports such as snorkelling, diving, and even walking underwater. Visit Dubai’s largest aquarium and interact with friendly marine animals at Dolphin Bay and Sea Lion Point.
You can also take a peaceful walk down the beach to the boardwalk area, or rent a bike for a trip.
