The Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) started last weekend, bringing with it a number of well-liked activations like food-focused pop-ups, retail bargains, and the recurrent JBR drone show.
However, starting this weekend, the daily fireworks display will be back. Fireworks displays will illuminate up the skies at four different locations across the emirate from December 15 until DSF ends on January 14.
December 15 to 24: Dubai Festival City Mall
From this Friday through Christmas Eve, Dubai Festival City Mall will host a nightly fireworks extravaganza. Every night at 9 p.m., the display will light up the sky with the well-liked Imagine light and laser show.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday from December 15 to December 30: Hatta
Each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 8 p.m., as part of the Hatta Festival in December, there will be bright fireworks displays colouring the skies above the mountains. Put the following dates in your calendar: December 22–23–24, December 29–30, and on December 15, 16, and 17.
December 25 to January 4: Al Seef
Christmas Day to January 4 at 9 p.m., Dubai’s historical period will be the scene of a two-week fireworks extravaganza. Spend the evening meandering around the narrow streets of this historic area of the city, absorbing the atmosphere of bygone Dubai. Don’t miss Dubai Lights’ neon display, which has 40 neon abras soaring across the creek, as well as to the pyrotechnics.
December 31: Bluewaters and The Beach, JBR, Al Seef, and Hatta
You may see a spectacular fireworks display at midnight if you’re spending New Year’s Eve at JBR, Al Seef, or Hatta. Each of the three venues pledges to ring in 2024 with a spectacular fireworks display.
January 5 to 14: Bluewaters and The Beach, JBR
Every day from January 5 until the end of DSF on January 14, there will be fireworks at JBR and Bluewaters at 9 p.m. on top of to the stunning drone performances at 8 and 10 p.m.
