End of The Road: KISS concert in Dubai has been cancelled

KISS’s show in Dubai, scheduled for this Friday, October 13, was suddenly cancelled, based on an Instagram post on the Coca-Cola Arena’s official profile. We’re not sure if the concert will be delayed, but we’ll let you know as soon as we know.

Their website also confirms that the event has been cancelled due to “unforeseen events and will be releasing a statement soon.” All tickets have been immediately returned to the same credit card used for purchase. Transactions, however, may take up to 21 days to reflect.

Previously in Dubai

As many people celebrated the new year in lockdown, the event was live broadcast across the world. If the record-breaking production is a guide, fans can expect a’mind-blowing performance filled with rock ‘n’ roll energy and unforgettable moments,’ according to event organiser All Things Live.

This will be your final opportunity to see the lively rockers, since this is their final tour. The tour, which was set up to commemorate KISS’ 40th anniversary in the company, began in Canada in 2019, but was cut short because to the pandemic.

Since restarting, the band has played 60 performances in the United States and Canada. They are at the moment on the European leg of the tour, with the Dubai stop coming only two months before the huge worldwide trip shuts in December at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Other things to look forward to in Dubai

While KISS may have cancelled their show, the Coca-Cola Stadium in Dubai will host Khalid, Macklemore, and Sean Paul, who will perform all in the same month.

On October 21, Sean Paul and T.I will take the stage. On October 27, Khalid will perform in Dubai. Macklemore will perform the next day, October 28. Looking ahead to November, we also have Bastille playing at the venue.
